Jeff is the senior vice president of Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO). The company founded by his grandfather, Thomas Young, will celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2020. Jeff works closely with his father, brothers and members of the fourth generation directing operations and providing leadership to the company’s nearly 2,000 employees. YESCO has grown to 40 offices in the Western United States and expanded its service offering to an additional 75 franchise offices.

Jeff’s career began in 1980. He has held many positions including vice president and general manager of YESCO Salt Lake from 1995 to 2011. He was named senior vice president and chief marketing officer in 2011. Jeff has been responsible for a variety of diverse projects over the years, including oversight of YESCO’s work on the 2002 Winter Olympics. He also took on the task of coordinating the design and construction of YESCO’s state-of-the art facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He has been involved on various committees with the World Sign Associates (WSA) and the International Sign Association (ISA). Jeff is the current chair of WSA’s Professional and Organizational Development Committee. Jeff was president of WSA in 2015 and Chairman of ISA in 2017. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Utah Chapter of the Young President’s Organization and held a board position for the Salt Lake Rotary Club 24. Jeff is currently on the Board of Directors for Fetzer Architectural Woodwork.

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in Japanese as well as a master’s degree in business administration with an international certificate from the University of Utah. Additionally, he represented YESCO on several national television programs including NBC’s Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning, How We Got to Now (BBC/PBS), Photo Number 6, Smithsonian Channel’s High Maintenance and was featured on the award-winning CBS Undercover Boss.

Jeff has been married for over 30 years to his high school sweetheart, Catherine. They have five children, and two grandsons. Jeff enjoys travelling, photography, snow skiing, water skiing, boating, and scuba diving.

Jeff also starred in an episode of “Undercover Boss.”
